No-show & Cancellation Fees

To apply no-show and cancellation fees, you will start by configuring the fees in your billing settings.


Here's how to add fees: 

1) Navigate to the profile icon in the top right corner and select Clinic settings.

 

2) Select the Billing tab and ensure you have the Fees screen open. 

3) Click the +Add button.

 

4) Enter details including fee name, type (cancellation or no-show), fee structure, and the amount. 

 

💡Pro-tip: 

You can apply different fee structures to your no-show and cancellation fees. 

  • $ Override: Total charge that the patient will owe for their no-show appointment.
  • $ Additional Fee: Dollar amount charge in addition to treatment fee. 
  • % Additional Fee: Percentage charge in addition to treatment fee. 
  • $ Discount from Total: Dollar amount deducted from treatment fee. 
  • % Discount from Total: Percentage deducted from treatment fee.
 

 

5) After adding your fees, you'll be able to view them all. You can then apply your fees when a patient cancels or no-shows their appointment.
