TriZetto Onboarding: Completing Enrollments, Test Claims, & ChiroUp Set Up

Onboarding with TriZetto while setting up ChiroUp’s billing features requires a few key steps to ensure everything runs smoothly. Verifying your ChiroUp billing profile, generating test claims, double-checking your payor IDs, and completing enrollments are essential to a successful setup. This guide will walk you through each step so you can confidently move forward with your billing processes. Let’s get started!

◉ Enter Correct Payor IDs

Your Getting Started Checklist will walk you through setting up your Payors database. Be sure that your Payor IDs match those from TriZetto's database of Payor IDs!

◉ Ensure the correct NPI number on your billing profile

When you set up your billing profile(s), it's important to ensure they align with your enrollments. If you’re enrolled under your organizational NPI (Type 2), create an organizational billing profile with your Type 2 NPI entered. If you’re enrolled under your individual NPI (Type 1), create an individual billing profile with your Type 1 NPI entered.

If you’re enrolled under both organizational and individual NPIs for different payors, you’ll need to create a billing profile for each. Just be sure to set your default billing profile as the one you’ll use most often!

On a purchase, your default billing profile will populate automatically. However, if you switch to a different profile (like when the patient's insurance carrier requires attaching a different billing profile), ChiroUp will remember that selection for the patient’s next visit.

◉ Generate your Test Claim

Your TriZetto rep will request a test claim file during your onboarding process. Luckily, ChiroUp makes this super easy! This article will walk you through how to generate your test claim.

Make sure your Payors database and Billing profiles are set up before attempting to generate your test claim! If you get an error, reach out to your ChiroUp onboarding coach for help!
