Credit Card Information Survey

If your clinic uses the NCMIC Payment Processing integration, then you can request that patient's provide their card information to be saved on file at anytime using the Credit Card Information Survey. When a patient completes the survey by inputting their credit card information, their card will be saved on file for future use.

💳 Here's how to request Credit Card Information:

Anywhere you can Request Info, select the Credit Card Information survey.

💳 Here's what it looks like for patients:

💳 Here's what happens when the survey is complete:

Once a patient completes their Credit Card Information request, then their card will be saved on file. You can access it from their record under Transactions > Payments > Saved Payment Methods.

Note!

By submitting their card, the patient consents to it being securely stored and authorizes charges for services or fees that your clinic may charge. The patient may see a pre-authorization transaction for $0.01 for a short time, but their card will not be charged (until your clinic initiates a charge).

Once the patient has entered their card, it will now be saved on file to be charged by your clinic.

The required pre-authorization to save a card on file is a “transaction” and will therefore incur the standard transaction processing fee.
