How patients will schedule online

To book an appointment on the patient-facing portal, patients will:

1) Navigate to your online scheduling site.

2) Select the desired treatment.

3) Select the desired provider OR if they have no preference on the provider, the patient may click “No preference? See all provider availability.”

4) Select their desired date and time (based on provider availability).

If a patient is existing AND already logged in, they will bypass steps 5 and 6.

5) Enter either their email or phone number along with their date of birth on the next screen.

The patient will now receive a validation code via email or phone, which they must verify before proceeding to schedule the appointment. This step confirms whether the patient is an active patient in your system or not. This step also helps to prevent spam requests by confirming the ownership of the mobile number or email.

6) Enter the validation code they received either via email or phone.

After entering the correct validation code, the system will either recognize the patient as new or existing.

An existing patient is defined as an individual whose email address or mobile number is associated with a patient record already stored in your ChiroUp clinic’s database. New patients are those whose email or mobile number is not tied to a patient in your database.

New Patients:

7) Enter first and last name along with the other contact information still needed— either email or phone.

8) Click “Confirm.” Confirming the appointment will submit the request to your clinic as a pending patient, subject to approval or denial by clinic users.

Or, click “Change” to modify appointment details: treatment type, provider, date, and time.

Existing Patients:

7) Confirm the individual for whom they are booking.

8) Click “Confirm.” Confirming the appointment will schedule the appointment in your clinic’s Schedule.

Or, click “Change” to modify appointment details: treatment type, provider, date, and time.

Alternatively, existing patients can schedule appointments by clicking “Log in” in the top right corner of the schedule screen.

They will enter their email or phone, date of birth, and click “Submit.” They will receive a validation code.

Upon entering the validation code correctly, the patient can proceed with scheduling a new appointment or managing existing appointments by clicking the profile icon in the top right corner.
