Enable online scheduling

You can enable online scheduling which will allow your patients to book appointments from your online scheduling site. Follow these steps to enable online scheduling for your clinic.

1) Your Scheduling site web address

First, you'll need to set your clinic's Vanity URL suffix in your Clinic Settings under Location.

This Vanity URL suffix will serve as the identifier for your clinic's scheduling web address. We suggest choosing a Vanity URL suffix in the format of your-clinic-name. For example, if your clinic is named Springfield Chiropractic, a good option for the Vanity URL suffix would be something like springfield-chiropractic or springfield-chiro.

Once set, your clinic’s online scheduling site will look like this:
https://schedule.healthcom.io/your-clinic-name

(The Vanity URL is the "your-clinic-name" part of the scheduling web address.)

Here's how to set your Vanity URL Suffix:

1) Navigate to the profile icon in the top right corner and select Clinic settings.

2) Select the Locations tab and choose the specific location for which you wish to find the vanity URL.

3) Scroll to the field Vanity URL suffix. Enter your vanity URL which appears in your clinic's online schedule site.

In this example, the online scheduling site is: https://schedule.healthcom.io/best-clinic

2) Enable online scheduling for providers

Specify which providers allow for online bookings.

1) Navigate to the profile icon in the top right corner and select Clinic settings. Select the Users tab.

2) Locate the providers who allow online bookings and switch their ONLINE BOOKINGS toggle ON.

3) Enable online scheduling for treatment types

Specify the treatment types you wish to make available for online booking.

1) Navigate to the profile icon in the top right corner and select Clinic settings. Select the Disciplines tab.

2) When you select any treatment, you can check the box Allow online booking. Checking this box will make that treatment type available for patients to book online.

Once you have your scheduling site web address and enabled online scheduling for providers and treatment types, you can share the web address with your patients. They can then begin booking appointments online hassle-free!
