Updating SFTP Password (TriZetto)

This article walks through updating your TriZetto SFTP password. InfinEDI users should reference this article. 

Your SFTP password is required to connect your clearinghouse integration with ChiroUp. 

For TriZetto users, SFTP passwords expire every 365 days; you will receive communication from TriZetto when your SFTP needs updating. 

ChiroUp has an API connection with TriZetto which allows you to update your SFTP directly in ChiroUp without needing to update in TriZetto as well. 

Please note that your SFTP Password is NOT the same password you use to log into your TriZetto portal. 


Here's how to update your SFTP in ChiroUp: 

Navigate to Clinic Settings > Billing > Profiles. 

 

Select your billing profile and scroll to TriZetto Credentials. Reset your SFTP by typing a new password in the TriZetto Password field. 

Click Update Password at TriZetto. This will update your SFTP in TriZetto as well as ChiroUp. 

Click Save at the bottom of the screen. 


If your clinic uses additional TriZetto billing profiles, you'll want to enter your new password in each of those billing profiles as well. 

Check the Update password in ChiroUp only field for the other billing profiles. Click Save at the bottom of your screen!

You’ll also see when your TriZetto SFTP is set to expire next.


Late to updating your SFTP and need to make sure all your claims are submitted and ERAs received? 

  • Any claim you've submitted since the expiration date will be pushed through to the clearinghouse once you update the SFTP on the billing profiles. 
  • Any ERA that was received in the clearinghouse after the expiration date will also push into your ChiroUp account. 
  • It may take a few minutes before you see the ERAs coming into ChiroUp and the claims sending to the clearinghouse.
