Your SFTP password is required to connect your InfinEDI clearinghouse integration with ChiroUp.
Your InfinEDI SFTP is the same password you use to log into your InfinEDI account portal/
This article guides you through the process of updating your SFTP in ChiroUp.
🚨 Note: It is critical to update your SFTP in both your clearinghouse and ChiroUp. If you do not, claims will not send from ChiroUp to the clearinghouse, and ERAs will not be received back into ChiroUp.
Here's how to update your SFTP in ChiroUp:
Navigate to Clinic Settings > Billing > Profiles.

Select your billing profile and scroll to InfinEDI Credentials. Enter your updated InfinEDI in the InfinEDI Password field.

Click Test Credentials. If you've entered a valid SFTP password, you'll get the green Credentials Valid message.
If you get a Credentials invalid message, double check that you're entering the correct SFTP password.

Remember to click Save!
💡Pro Tip:
Make sure you update your SFTP for every active billing profile you use to send claims to your integrated clearinghouse.
Late to updating your SFTP and need to make sure all your claims are submitted and ERAs received?
- Any claim you've submitted since the expiration date will be pushed through to the clearinghouse once you update the SFTP on the billing profiles.
- Any ERA that was received in the clearinghouse after the expiration date will also push into your ChiroUp account.
- It may take up to 30 minutes before you see the ERAs coming into ChiroUp and the claims sending to the clearinghouse after updating your SFTP.
