View & Manage Patient Tracks

A Track functions as a dedicated folder for a specific issue a provider is treating, ensuring they see only relevant information. If a patient receives care from multiple providers, each provider has their own Track to keep records organized and treatment streamlined.

You can view and manage patient tracks within the patient's record.

Here's how to view and manage a patient's Track(s):

In the patient record, click on the Track icon in the top right corner.

This will open the patient's active tracks.

To edit a track, click on the associated Edit button.

Here is a summary of the settings you can edit for each Track:

  • Name: By default, each Track will be named after the associated complaint. You can update the name of each track as needed. For example, if the Track is designated for a patient's massage notes, you may want to rename the track “Massage Therapy." The Track name will display in the Track field drop-down when scheduling an appointment.
  • Complaints: By default, each Track will be associated with the complaint reported by the patient when they completed their Chief Complaint Survey. You can associate multiple complaints with a single track, and one complaint can be associated with multiple tracks.
  • Associated Treatments & Associated Providers: The Associated Treatments and Associated Providers for a Track aid in auto-populating correct Track while booking an appointment.
    • In the above example, if Dr. Kate Tegtmeier is the provider on the appointment, and the treatment type is Treatment Visit, then this Arm Track will populate.
    • We recommend leaving Associated Treatments blank if the treatment type doesn’t matter, and Associated Providers blank if only the treatment type is relevant.
  • Send Surveys: When this setting is checked, the system will automatically send the CCS, Interim, or Re-exam surveys as needed upon check-in.
