Assessment Wizard

The Assessment Wizard is where you select the patient’s diagnosis. Click + Condition to select from ChiroUp's condition library.

You can search for a condition, narrow down your search by using the Region Filter buttons at the top, or easily select a common joint dysfunction condition by using the shortcut keys next to the search bar.

💡Pro-tips:

  • Use our short cut buttons (C, SI, T, L, UE, P, LE, M) to quickly select common joint dysfunction disorders (Cervical, Sacroiliac, Thoracic, Lumbar, Upper Extremity, Pelvic, and Lower Extremity joint dysfunctions, and Muscle Spasm).
  • Click the heart icon to favorite a condition! Favorited conditions will always appear at the top of view.

Once you select a condition, it will highlight with a green check mark. (Or, if you've selected a joint dysfunction condition, the button will highlight green).

Once a diagnosis is selected, you have the option to indicate ICD codes. Click the + button on each condition to select an associated ICD code.

This will open the Reference Code window with the condition's associated ICD codes.

  • To select the ICD code, click the check mark.
  • To favorite an ICD code for auto-selection the next time you add this condition to a patient encounter, click the heart icon.

This is what it will look like once you have successfully selected your ICD diagnostic codes. You'll see that you can select more than one code per condition if necessary.

Note!

Once you indicate and ICD code, it will be automatically available for diagnosis pointing, and it will carry over from visit to visit until the complaint is resolved or the condition removed.

💡 Pro-tip:

Toggle on PRN to designate the complaint for treatment as needed. This means that no subjective surveys (interim, re-exam) will be requested for this complaint.

Easily access a condition's associated protocol in the Condition Reference by click the Link icon on the condition.
