Deleting a patient

Here's how to delete a patient record:

1) Navigate to the Search patients bar, then search for and select the patient whose record you wish to delete.

2) Click Edit in the patient record, under the General tab.

 

3) Scroll to the bottom and click Delete.

 

4) Click Delete to confirm the permanent removal of the patient record.

  • ChiroUp will also show a preview of any associated items that will also be deleted. This includes all appointments, encounters, transactions, and invoices so they will not display in any reports. 

Or, click Close to exit, canceling this action and retaining the patient record. 

💡Pro Tip:

Only Admin users can delete a patient. Admin users can also navigate to Admin > Deleted patients to view and recover deleted patients. 

 

Click Restore to restore any deleted patient!
