Available as a subscription add-on, ChiroUp’s Two-way texting makes patient communication fast, easy, and more connected, with everything built to be HIPAA and TCPA-compliant.

With ChiroUp's Two-way Texting Add-on you can send and receive text messages directly in ChiroUp and add additional text appointment reminders (One text reminder is included with your standard EHR subscription, and the Two-way Texting add-on gives you the flexibility to send multiple reminders).

ChiroUp's Two-way Texting functionality is limited to individual messaging with patients. It does not allow for any mass or group messaging at this time.

Can I set up automatic messaging, like reactivation or birthday text messages to patients?

ChiroUp's Two-way Texting does not support setting up text campaigns to automatically send text messages to patients.

Can I use the phone number I already have for my clinic as my texting number?

If you’d like to send Google Review requests by text, you must first obtain consent for Marketing SMS. If you attempt to send a Google Review Request via text without Marketing SMS consent obtained, ChiroUp will prompt you to collect Marketing SMS consent.

Transactional messages, like appointment reminders and care-related texts, and Marketing messages, like Google Review requests, are regulated differently under the TCPA, so consent must be collected separately.

When you mark a patient as consenting to Marketing SMS in ChiroUp, the system will send them a confirmation text. The patient must reply “Yes” before consent is finalized.

Marketing SMS consent is only required for sending Google Review requests via text. Patients can still receive Google Review requests by email, including through the automated post care survey sent 30 days after a condition report.
