When you receive a text from a patient, you'll see the number badge in your Messaging module, indicating you have unread messages. 

If you accidentally open a message before you're prepared to respond or take action, you can easily mark the message as Unread - which will restore the badge indicating you have unread messages. Then, you or another person on your team can take action later. 

Here's how to mark a message as unread: 

Hover over the right side of the message preview to reveal the Ellipses icon. This will give you the option to then mark the message as Unread.
