Expiring a survey request

Survey requests sent to patients will automatically expire after 7 days. However, you can manually expire a request earlier if you no longer need the patient to complete the survey.


Here's how to expire an outstanding survey request: 

1. Navigate to the patient's chart. 

2. Click on the Request for Info you would like to expire. 

 

3. Click Expire Survey to expire an individual survey request, or Expire Request to expire the entire survey request. 

 

4. Confirm that you would like to expire the survey(s). 

 

5. You will see the Survey Expired label on any surveys that you have expired. 

Note! 

When you expire a survey request, the patient will still have the original text or email notification, but if they click the link, the survey will no longer be available for completion.
