As an EHR vendor, ChiroUp is required to purchase an X12 license for each clinic that utilizes electronic insurance claims processing through a clearinghouse. To keep things fair and transparent, we’ve adopted a flexible approach:

• Clinics using our integrated clearinghouse partner—Trizetto —already have this cost included in their clearinghouse fees, so there are no additional charges.
• Clinics that choose to Bring Their Own Clearinghouse (BYOC) simply pay their portion of the X12 license fee, which is $39 per clinic, per month.

This ensures cash-based clinics or those not needing a clearinghouse can enjoy a lower base subscription cost without inflated pricing. The fee begins on your go-live date and is billed separately from your EHR subscription.
