Survey requests sent to patients will automatically expire after 7 days. However, you can manually expire a request earlier if you no longer need the patient to complete the survey.
Here's how to expire an outstanding survey request:
1. From the patient record, click the Activity tab select the survey you wish to expire.

2. Once selected, you'll see two options: "Expire Survey" and "Expire Request." Here's the difference between them:
- Expire Survey: Use this option to expire a specific survey within your request.
- Expire Request: Select this option to expire the entire batch of survey requests at once.

3. Hit confirm and that survey request will now be expired!

Note!
When you expire a survey request, the patient will still have the original text or email notification, but if they click the link, the survey will no longer be available for completion.
