View patient purchases

Purchases can be viewed either for a specific patient or for the entire clinic.

You have several options to navigate to a specific patient's purchases. A purchase is automatically created when you schedule an appointment for a patient. Each patient appointment has its own purchase tied to it. 


Using the Purchase button: 

Another option to access a patient's purchase is to use the Purchase button located in both the appointment panel and in the encounter. The Purchase button is the easiest way to quickly jump between the appointment, encounter, and purchase.

Here's how to view purchases for a patient: 

From the patient record: 

To view all of a patient's purchases, you will navigate to their record and select the Transactions tab. You will be brought to the Purchases tab where you will see a list of all purchases for the patient. 


From the dashboard: 

Finally, you can quickly navigate to a patient's purchase from the provider dashboard. The dashboard will show all checked-in patients for a specified timeframe. 

Note: The provider dashboard is only available to users whose role is Provider. The provider dashboard only shows checked-in patients for that provider. 

To open the dashboard, simply click the bell icon in the top right corner of your account. 

For any patient, click on the money icon to navigate to that purchase.
