Filter the Purchase Ledger—for individual patients or clinic-wide purchases—by Location, Clinician, and whether insurance or service codes have been added.
Quickly identify purchases missing insurance or service codes to make sure you never miss billing a claim!
Filtering the Purchase Ledger for a specific patient:
Navigate to the patient's record and then to the Transactions tab.

- Date Range: Filter to a specific range of purchase dates
- Location: Filter to view purchases for a specific clinic location
- Clinician: Filter to view purchases with your selected Clinician
- Insurance Status: Filter to view purchases with or without insurance policies assigned
- Service Code Status: Filter to view purchases with or without service codes added
- Superbill Date Range: This field is designed to print a date range of superbills for a patient at once - this field does not filter your purchase view
Filtering Clinic Wide Purchase Ledger:
Navigate to Billing > Ledger. This will show you all clinic purchases given your selected filters. The filters on the clinic-wide view of purchases is the same as the filters on the individvual patient ledger view.

Pro Tip!
Filter by Insurance Status = No Insurance Assigned to quickly see all purchases missing an insurance policy. This is an easy way to catch anything that may have slipped through the cracks. Since a purchase must have an insurance policy before a claim can be created, identifying these purchases helps ensure everything can be billed out smoothly.
