Setting up automatic social media posting to Instagram

After you've completed the steps to make us an admin on your Facebook page, a few additional steps are needed if you’d like us to post on Instagram.

1) Ensure your Instagram is a "Professional Account" 

You can do this by navigating to your Instagram profile on your mobile device. Click the ≡ icon in the top right-hand corner > Account type and tools > Switch to professional account. 

If you see "switch account type," your Instagram is already a professional account.

⚠️ Posting will NOT work if your account is a personal or creator account. 

 

2) Connect your Instagram business account and Facebook business account.

You can do this by navigating to your FACEBOOK business page settings. Settings  > Linked Accounts. If you see your Instagram page is already populated, it is already connected. 

 

 

⚠️ You will also need to verify or review your connection. If you see a "review connection" button, click that to verify. You may be asked to verify on Facebook OR Instagram. Make sure you check both platforms.
