If your patient forgets their HealthCom password, there are 2 ways to reset the password.
- You can generate a temporary password in ChiroUp, which they can use to log in. After logging in with the temporary password, they will be prompted to set their permanent password.
- Or, your patient can use the 'forgot password' button available on the login screen to reset their own password.
How you can generate a temp password for your patient
1) Navigate to the General tab in the patient's record, and click Reset password next to the patient's HealthCom username.
2) A temporary password will be generated automatically.
3) Give this temporary password to your patient. Press Set password to confirm the password reset. Your patient will use this temporary password to log in. They will then be prompted to set their permanent password before proceeding into HealthCom.

1) They will navigate to Healthcom.io
2) They will select the forgot password option.
3) They will type in the HealthCom username (which can be found in the patient report, or check out this article on locating a forgotten username).
4) Check their email for their "reset password" link. (Check your spam or promotional folders if you don't see the email in your inbox!)
