Applying package visits

Packages can cover visits based on the treatment type, or they can cover specific codes— depending on the eligible treatments and codes you select when creating a package. To apply a patient package use to a purchase, the patient must have purchased a package that includes an eligible treatment type or code on the purchase. 


Here is how to apply a package visit to a patient's purchase: 

1. On the patient purchase, click Edit
 

 

 

2. Click Apply package. 

 

3. If the patient has multiple packages, or if you need to apply multiple uses of a single package, you can indicate which package you want to use, or how many uses to apply. 

Click Apply Coverage

 

4. You will see in the Credits column of the purchase that the package use has been applied. 

 

Note!

For a service code to be eligible for package use on purchases with insurance, you must mark the code as non-billable. This means that the service code will not appear on the claim form.
