Permissions by role in ChiroUp EHR

In ChiroUp, every user has an assigned role— Admin, Provider, Front Office, Biller, Clinical Assistant, Content & Database Editor, and Business Manager.

Each role has its own level of permissions and access. You can assign multiple roles to one user. 

 

Here is a general overview of each role:

  • System Admin: the users who configure the system and manage the account
  • Provider: the users who perform clinical services and are the rendering provider on claims
  • Biller: the users who are responsible for billing tasks and managing claims
  • Front Office: the users who are front office and administrative personnel
  • Clinical Assistant: the users who are medical assistants who help perform basic clinical tasks
  • Content & Database Editor: the users who are authorized to make edits to any of the clinical and billing databases
  • Business Manager: the users who perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks
