Navigate to the Tests detail module found on the left panel of an encounter to access tests ordered from the Plan Wizard, upload test results, or order additional tests.
In addition to the provider being able to order a test in the Plan Wizard, staff can also order tests from the Tests detail module.
How to order a test:
1) Enter the facility, type of test, and any pertinent details (including region, number of views, and specific notes).
2) Save the test using the save icon in the top right corner (hint: it's a floppy disk!)
After ordering a test, whether from the Plan Wizard or Tests detail, you'll be able to upload the test result file by Click the Upload file button. Alternatively, you can order additional tests, print test orders, or delete any ordered tests using the icons at the top of your screen.
Test details entered in this module will populate into the corresponding SOAP note in the details section.
Notes!
- Users will also be able to see ordered tests and their associated details within the Chart tab.
- You will need to populate your Tests and facilities databases before using the Tests Module.
