Modalities detail module

Navigate to the Modalities detail module found on the left panel of an encounter to manage prescribed modalities and add new ones. 


Any modalities that were prescribed in the Plan Wizard by the provider will populate here. Otherwise, staff members can add and edit modalities as needed from the modalities detail module. 

  • Marking a modality as complete: Once the prescribed modality has been completed, the staff member can click the Complete button. This action will record in the details section of the SOAP note that the modality was completed. An entry will also be made to the patient's chart notating the modality complete. 
  • Adding a new modality: The staff member can use the + icon to add additional modalities to the encounter. They will enter requested details and add the modality. 

 

 

💡Pro-tip

  • Modalities will carry over from encounter to encounter.
  • You can edit or delete a modality using the pencil and trash icons. 
  • Deleting a modality will prevent it from carrying over from encounter to encounter. 
  • Use the Skip button to notate on the SOAP note that the modality was prescribed, but skipped completion for any reason.
