(1A) Sending an insurance survey

You can add an insurance policy for a patient directly in their record, or you can request the Insurance Survey which allows patients to enter the information themselves. Follow along below to practice sending an insurance survey.

(1C) Entering patient insurance policy manually

If you don't send an insurance survey or if the patient does not complete their survey, you can always enter their policy information directly to their patient record.

(1D) Entering patient benefits

After a patient complete's their insurance survey, you will want to review the policy and enter their benefits and any authorization/referral numbers. For multi-disciplinary clinics, make sure you select the correct discipline when entering benefit information that needs to appear on claims, like authorization numbers.
