When you integration your ChiroUp account with your Aloha account, you can start sending appointment reminders through Aloha. This article will walk you through how to turn off appointment reminders in ChiroUp after you've enabled Aloha appointment reminders. 

Here's how to turn off appointment reminders in ChiroUp: 

We will turn off reminders for each individual Treatment type. Edits made to reminder settings in the Scheduling tab apply only to appointments booked moving forward. Instead, disabling reminders under per Treatment under the Discipline tab will apply immediately to all appointments. 

1. Navigate to Clinic Settings and then to the Disciplines tab. 

2. Click Edit on a Treatment type

3. Scroll down to check the setting for Suppress Reminders. Click Save!

4. Repeat for each treatment type in order to suppress all reminders from sending from ChiroUp.

What about ChiroUp surveys?

Even if you use Aloha for appointment reminders, ChiroUp surveys will still be sent directly from ChiroUp rather than Aloha. Patients can expect to receive survey requests from (888) 392-2221.

ChiroUp will continue to automatically request all Subjective Surveys (Chief Complaint, Interim, and Re-exam). If you'd like to request additional surveys, you can do so at any time using the Request Info button on the appointment panel.

💡Pro Tip: 

Even if you use Aloha to send appointment reminders instead of ChiroUp, your patients can still automatically receive the Chief Complaint Survey (CCS) before their appointment. The survey will be sent 24 hours before the appointment from ChiroUp's standard survey number: (888) 392-2221.

To ensure the CCS continues sending automatically, do not remove the default appointment reminder configuration under Clinic Settings > Scheduling. This configuration enables ChiroUp to send the survey ahead of the appointment, even when appointment reminders are handled by Aloha.

If the default reminder configuration is removed, the Chief Complaint Survey will no longer be sent before the appointment and will instead only become available to the patient at check-in.

 

What about online scheduling?

If you are using Aloha's online scheduling and want to prevent patients from booking online via HealthCom (ChiroUp), you'll want to disable HealthCom Scheduling. 

Navigate to Clinic Settings > HealthCom. 

Toggle OFF Allow patients to schedule online through HealthCom.
